Gold Mk2 Granada Ghia, WVM650X, Scunthorpe 05/07/18    Gold mk2 Ford Granada 2.8 Ghia was stolen from the garage of a property in Scunthorpe at around 3am by 4 thieves. The car is an automatic & is known to have travelled through Susworth on the Trent bank as the owners blue disabled badge was recovered from there earlier today. |

If I remember right they owners wife is a dementia suffer to so the car is key for hospital visits etc.
Absolute scumbags.

If you were to type in 'Recaro seats' into ebay, you would be confronted with more 80s ex Ford/Vauxhall jobbies than you would ever have were thought manufactured at the time. I am not saying that all those seats, as all 'classic' car parts are available because they have been removed from stolen cars but I am saying that a good proportion of parts hawked out there haven't been dragged out of lofts and garages after being put there 34 years ago. All those cars that go missing, many are not suitable to be bangered, many do not end up on the Emerald Isle but many are stripped for anything of value and the rest cut up and fragged at a friendly ask no questions scrappy. Nobody really questions were the part they have bought has come from and nobody is going to police it. It's staggering just how many cars have had Cosworth lumps fitted...…………..  |
