Any one got a source for something like this I've found stubby ones made by Bergen for sensible money, but I want the long ones Oh and don't forget - in imperial. £30 should be enough to get a decent set I would have thought, but I can only find no-name Chinese or really spendy Anyone know where I might get something similar in the UK ?

If it can be fixed with a hammer, then it must be an electrical fault

Thanks Nomad - the Teng ones would have been great in 1/4 or 3/8 drive, but I try and steer clear of 1/2 stuff unless it needs proper beasting.
The Crafstman set will go in my suitcase next time I'm in the US I think.

I am sure I have seen them recently at auto jumbles. I got a short set from Ebay. Have you tried the US Ebay as many sellers will post to the UK I got my Snap on Screwdrivers for £60 instead of £100+ by doing this.

It will come in handy even if you never use it

Well the nice delivery man has just dropped these off at my US hotel ATD wasn't a brand I was familiar with, but they get decent reviews, and for about £17 delivered - decent value

Good to see.
Going forwards be carefully getting those ball ended items that you showed in the first picture. The surface area the ball has in the allen bolt you are removing is minimal. Round this off and you have a bigger problem to deal with. Yes, I have been here before.
