Is it a 3dr, 4dr or the 5dr lift back?

A couple of photos would help. I can not up load photos. Its a 4 door We don't know if it's the E70 or E80 as '85 was a cross-over period between models, I'll assume it's the 5th generation as this seems more likely. You really need to get an idea of what the vendor thinks it's worth so you don't either drastically exceed his expectations or insult him. Does 'dry stored last 10 years' mean unused last 10 years? Recommissioning could be costly. Toyotas of this era are very good at looking mint whilst harbouring lots of expensive structural corrosion so I'd advise having a very thorough check underneath. If the car has seen recent use, check the MOT history online, this will flag up expensive advisories / fails and give you a flavour of how well the car has been maintained. This might give you some idea, (sold, presumably somewhere near the asking price of £3½K); www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C939030

Depending on what 'really clean' looks like (subjective) I'm not sure £2½K is a stretch here. I owned a Carina of similar vintage and mechanically it was an excellent vehicle, comfort was very good, the only thing that soured the deal was structural corrosion. If you could find one which wasn't rusty and had been looked after it could very realistically be used as an every day car as well as being an unusual and interesting mode of transport.
