Ford Granada Mk1 3 ltr "S" Coupe. Correct front springs

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, but I hope this is the right place to get some of the advice I need for my restoration project.

I have a 1976 Ford Granada Coupe with the 3 litre Essex V6, automatic gearbox and the factory built "S"-pack.
My front springs are broken and unfortunately replaced by non original ones by the former owner. I struggle to find replacements, as I can't seem to find the correct specs.

Is there anybody on this forum that can provide the original spring specs and perhaps also the correct ride high of this car?

Hello everyone,

I'm still searching for spring specs, but nothing have turned up so far.
Is there anyone out there that can tell me the right ride hight of a Granada MK1?
This will possibly give me an idea about the compressed length of the front springs.

If you have your original springs it may be worth taking them to a spring manufacturer. There are a few smaller outfits that can do this for you.

It might be worth emailing Burton Power Products. They don't list springs for the Granada any more, but they do sell a wide range of other RWD Ford replacements at different spring rates and ride heights, and may have the specs.
