Hi all have had a steady couple of days on the Vivaro the 12 volt fuse box is fitted and wired and the inverter is mounted and wired. I have been running the heater whilst working and it works well.I should start fitting the units on Monday afternoon subject to the weather.I am currently working on the curtains for the side door and kitchen area. I am using a new curtain system that#s light weight and neat once fitted. I have trial fitted the first curtain and they look promising. The one I have made will need a dart adding so it fits better in the corner. Have finished for today as its 1 degree and starting to rain. Cheers - mike b

That air heater looks the business, eBay or a better brand? Hi there its a Planar heater, basically a eberspacher clone. I have fitted quite a few over the last 2-3 years and not had any issues. They work well and so far have proved very reliable. Cheers - mike

Hi all
I did the final install of the fridge and fridge unit earlier. Its good to see bits going in permanently.
I ran the fridge for a couple of hours and used the inverter to power my jig saw and all was fine.
The electrics for the water pump / tap and the sockets and volt meter are all finished. They are in a separate self contained loom.
I also spent an hour drilling out all the random holes if the rear doors to 8mm so I could plug them with 8mm grey plugs which I have purchased.
The blank for the top cupboard is made, just the hole to cut out.
The laminate for the work top and table arrived earlier so thats everything here now apart from the table leg and base.
I'm of to Whitby until Sunday for lots of beer, fish and chips and pre-christmas fun. I should get back onto the Vivaro on Boxing day hangover permitting!!!
cheers - mike

Hi all got back onto the vivaro today. Didn't get anything done for a couple of days as my one year old grand came to stay. Anyways, had a steady morning and made the door for the top cupboard. Have trial fitted it and am happy with the fit so it just needs fixing now. I cant fix it permanently unto the ceiling is in which is the job for tomorrow. I should have the wardrobe end panels cut and ready to go in later and maybe the front of the kitchen unit. I'm working outside today as the weather is good, 12 degrees and sunny!! makes a change from my workshop. Cheers - mike

did a bit more whilst waiting for my dinner to warm up
cut the hole in the worktop and fitted the pop up socket.
This one's an upgrade from my usual ones as it has an aluminium casing instead of plastic.
Just got to add the plug later.
Anyways i'm off to fit the sink and cut the holes for the waste pipes etc.
Cheers - mike

and a bit more done whenever I fit a Dometic sink I have to modify the tap to fit as they make the hole in the sink an odd size so that only their mixer tap fits. This is no big deal unless you only want a cold water tap which has a slimmer body so I have to make a couple of spacers. The sink is now fully fitted with both the tap and waste connected. Next job should be final fitting of the worktop but as its cold and raining i'm going to retire to my workshop and make the table top. That should be about it for today. Cheers - mike
