On my Delica the rear anti roll bar has detached through rust, I'm going to get the chassis hole welded, but I don't really want to put the bar back!
Reason is that it really limits rear axle articulation when off road, I know that it helps cornering on the road, but it's a Delica, not something you want to push on in anyway!
Some versions didn't have a rear anti rear bar anyway.
So if I remove the brackets and all trace of the bar, will it fail the MOT?
Thanks

I did years of off roading and always took the rear arb off and never got questioned at MOT time. As far as I understand, if it's not fitted, they can't test it.

If standard fit and removed, it's a fail I'm afraid. Irrespective of what lowriders and off readers do, it isn't a pass and forget about officially. And a Delica isn't exactly renowned for its stability as standard, let alone with a stabiliser removed

As above but something oddball may not get picked up , I remember failing a focus a few yrs back for rear drop links that came back with the lot removed and had to fail it under the rfr for missing as standard

If it is an option and you can remove and trace of mounts then they can't test it, found this out on my very very low polo.
Obviously if you go cutting mounts off you need to be covering it in under seal and needs to look factory.
