The latest offering from Mighty Car Mods came out Christmas Eve here and is worth a watch. They are doing quite well in the Youtube lists so some more likes/subscribes will probably help. If you have an old Micra for sale it might be worth more now !

Looking forward to part 2. A little part of me died when I heard the NSX slush through the gears...

Whether you believe you can, or you cannot, you're probably right.

Looking forward to part 2. A little part of me died when I heard the NSX slush through the gears... Same! Impressed with the production values but it really felt that they were stringing out part 1 with long segments of bad jokes and hooning around fields. Looking forward to PT 2 though. When I saw the NSX I nudged the wife...”look, it’s an NSX............................aww, man it’s an auto.”

Looking forward to part 2. A little part of me died when I heard the NSX slush through the gears... Same! Impressed with the production values but it really felt that they were stringing out part 1 with long segments of bad jokes and hooning around fields. Looking forward to PT 2 though. When I saw the NSX I nudged the wife...”look, it’s an NSX............................aww, man it’s an auto.” From what Tiff said back in the day with the earlier models, the gearing was way too long for public roads for them to be enjoyed as a manual. He was saying that on the road you really couldn't appreciate an NSX for what it was, even when pushing it on. IIRC, he was saying 1st went to around 40MPH, and 2nd above 70ish! On a track it was fine, but then of course you are in the realms of doing 80MPH plus mostly . I have to say until I saw Tiff's review on an old TG, I was very much in the same boat as 'why did they do an auto'? After living with my sister's Saab with crazily long gearing (think of stalling it in town in 2nd despite doing 10-15MPH!; she preferred the Mondeo we sold for some time due to this), That point seems more true. I never thought I'd like shorter geared cars. I think the gearing was corrected on the later cars, especially when 6 speed 'boxes gained momentum.
