Funnily enough I was thinking about the batman tumbler this morning because I was about 100 yards behind a grit truck and I couldn’t see the top half so the lights being so far apart and about three foot off the ground made it look like a supersized sports car - kind of like a giant countach.
That led me to wonder whether anyone had build such a creation out of an old lorry cab- i.e chopped it flat and built a supercar style body around it.
Which ultimately led me on to wonder whether that was how the bat tumbler was built.

For most of my life I've idly pondered the idea of taking a truck chassis and drivetrain and building a cool ašš car body on it. As kid I used to dream about having a back garden that ends at a river, and having my own pedalo... but black, and with a glass dome over the seats, and cool ašš leather upholstery and lighting inside it. I live a sad life.

You could do worse than trying to emulate the Medusa projectOr the Cummings engined Napier Railton replica

Our rural small holding borders a nice little stream. We haven't managed to catch any fish yet. Caught a polecat last night. Does that count?

I'm hoping it was the one that killed all our ducks and a bunch of chickens. All traps reset just in case though.

That is awesome! some serious want right here! I bet it sounds awesome! I've seen the car up close at Castle Combe, the noise is not all that amazing tbh, it's the same engine used in later versions of the Dodge Ram, too smooth! The real McCoy broke 47 world speed records with its Napier Lion W12 24 litre 580bhp aero engine. It's very low geared and sounds just right, like an old aeroplane stuttering;
