First the bad news, it's got a gearbox fault. Sometimes it won't change down, you have to stop put into park switch off, restart and away you go. Might need a box or a switch- do you feel lucky. To be honest I don't have much love for e46es and can't be arsed to even get it diagnosed.
Everything else works even the aircon and it goes like a stabbed rat, there's a dyno printout from when a previous owner had it re-mapped after swapping the engine ( presumably for a lower mileage one, the cars done 217k)
its MOTed until July, although it only just scraped through on the handbrake, I replaced one rusted backplate but the other side is barely working.
It looks great in the dark , but all the arches are scabby and there's a few scratches and dings on most panels.
The interior is mint, full black leather with no rips, scuffs or marks.
Theres a very factory looking, professionally fitted SatNav/ DAB/ DVD/ parking camera unit and it's got aftermarket HID lights that flicker on start up but seem OK and weren't noticed at MOT!
Had to jump it today after been parked for 2 months and the battery didn't seem to hold charge, but I only drove it 2 miles , who knows if it'll come back with a good charge.
£450 or very near offer would drive it away.
Probably worth more in parts, I paid almost that for a secondhand head and cams for my e61 when it snapped it's camchain. Perfect engine donor for one of the many knackered L322 Range Rovers on eBay for the brave ( or insane)
