hi, just testing the water here with this one. i have my eye on a new project and need to raise some funds.
right, so here is a 1973 firenza, originally a 1256 model, of which there are only a handful left.
its a good solid car with minimal welding/ repairs done in the past.
underside has recently been properly gravitex sealed/ sprayed.
the whole shell has recently been stripped right down, and sprayed up in gun metal grey metallic.
the vaunrable areas, i.e; sills/ boot area/ engine bay/ valances having been stone chipped firstly.
the whole floor has been finished in black. the engine bay and boot area finished in gun metal.
the new wings/ doors are still on panel stands and in the booth, but will be finished and fitted within the next couple of weeks.
brand new headlining in black, just been fitted, supplied by east kent trim.
the front and rear screens have just been fitted in, with new rubbers and new chrome inserts.
the interior is all here and fitted, bar the carpets what needs getting (company on ebay making them).
the car has a few bags of new polybushes. some of the bushes have already been changed for these.
i have a pair of very good condition black tombstone seats here. these are super rare and worth a fortune. originally came from a 70's mazda i belive.
all chrome is in excellent condition and has to be the best i have come across on a 70's car.
new boot rubber fitted, i also have new door seals and new weather strips that will be fitted soon.
now this is a complete car apart from the engine and box. there are so many options i have been toying with.... but depending what route you wish to go down i can put you in contact with people with various engines avalible.
whats left to do; right, so, the car is being sold complete and all together, all fitted up- but there will be no carpet fitted. it will need an engine and box to be fitted as well.
this realy is a good little project for someone to easily finish. all the hard work and all the expensive work has been done.
car comes with boxes and boxes of spares. i have a few wiring looms, 2.3 front sub frame fitted, plus a spare front sub frame. i have loads of spare trims, spare interior stuff, a mountain of spare headlamps, 3 brake servos, spare rubbers, spare suspension parts. i could go on forever.
after 6 grand for this, mot'd examples are fetching over 10 grand, and the car realy doesnt want much money spent on it to get it finished.
now the pics show the car while it is in the workshop, so bear in mind that the doors and wings, glass and trim havent all been fitted in these pics. i will update the piccs when i get chance.
any questions, please get in touch. matt
