even though its electric (blah) , this caught my eye as an interesting watch because its a ds. i managed a couple of minutes before wanting to smash my tablet into a million bits....seriously! give it a go.

Happy fella, ain't he?  My first thought is that it seems to have made an otherwise perfectly good DS really slow at doing suspension travel that it used to do in seconds with the olde-worlde spheres. I do love the idea of the heating now being "two hairdriers" placed in the ducts instead of the original matrix  |

About 3 minutes. And people thought other presenters were annoying! I like the idea of it, however. It's a shame they picked the most powerful DS to do the conversion on ; a 5 speed DS21 EFI or 23 EFI actually does move forwards unlike Citroen's poorer efforts with the lacklustre 1.8 Solex fed cars. But I do know that a number of Citroen enthusiasts detest that D-Jetronic EFI and think it's a fire hazard, so that could have been the reason. That and some D-Jetronic are are now NLA or pricey; £200 an injector is the going rate for now.... Because of the crappy engines, I've been interested in the idea of going electric. You do wonder if it could have been done a little better mind you, but fair play . |

Ears plugged - all good here... There are worse things on you tube  Lots of respect for the owner/builder though, getting custom made batteries etc didn't seem to hang about when he did put his foot down. Problem being if that short run drained em it'd be useless. |
