Whilst browsing through some old photos I found some pictures of this Toyota I once owned. It was a Toyota Carina GTR - It wasn't that quick but never gave me any grief - It had a physical bell in it that started ringing if you went over 60mph, and a fridge for two drinks cans. Cost me 50 quid and I owned it for a couple of years. D454BMV was it's plate and it did come up on dvla as a triumph dolomite! It was the early 00's when I owned it and the love of Japanese classics wasn't what it is today. I really didn't appreciate it at the time and sold it on. Another car I should of kept ...

Probably the VW 411 I had a few years ago. 1700 with a pair of 40 IDF's. Sold it, and wished I hadn't and now as far as I know it's dead. Edited, to add pics.

1990 Cavalier Gsi2000. Bought for £700 assumed it was going to be rough but it was immaculate. Never realised what I had at the time, it isn't rare as such but drove it at University and did so like I stole it. I was young and was racing everything and like a idiot I crashed it on the A13 racing a GTi. Oh how I miss that car, everything for sale seems to be rotten and modified in some way It's blue but still best factory kit ever well this and a E500 or a 309 GTI

No photo but a Ford 100 E 1172 side valve with all the Aquaplane equipment fitted / again way back in 1972 i was young and never realised one day its worth in money and heritage / also letting a Rootes supercharger complete and nearly new slip through my grasp when offered for sale.

5 door 309 goodwood, one of 200, less than 100 left now, sold it to a lad in Scotland.
zx 16v, afaik one of 400 sold in the uk, under 20 left.
2.0 405 Mi16, probably in low teens left now, got stolen.

Both the cars in my avatar - the Sportshatch (on the left) is one of 197, and the Firenza is one of 204. My current project, '86 Audi coupe quattro, is quite rare now but I wouldn't like to put a number on it.

rare when new, no though I did have a chance to buy one of the first "new" abarth 500s which was used in a celebrity race and won which was 1 of 10 which I passed on because of my datsun. Rarest now, the gen 1 civic we're currently fettling with, saying that having a 280z in the uk is fairly rare but they aren't rare in the US in the grand scheme of things.
EDIT : there can't have been many non quattro audi coupe GT's which are automatic with green dash and interior etc.

Once had a genuine 1300 GT Mk1 Escort - was quite rare back in 87 but was pretty worthless at the time.

1.3L Maestro - Rare ? well virtually unique given that's done only 9,700 miles from new - just sold it 1954 Jowett Jupiter - One of 800 built and one of circa 400 surviving (red one awaiting restoration is mine - green one is 1953 was mine now sold to a client and will be restored through 2019 - 2010) 1952 Jowett Jupiter - Again one of 800 built and one of 400 surviving (although this is a bitza kit of parts made up from parts of 8 different cars at the last count - one day I will get round to building it into something of a hybrid bitza Jupiter) 1952 Jowett Javelin Standard - One of 24,500 built but now one of circa 250 surviving in standard model format - on the road and owned for the last 10 years by me 1937 Jowett 8 - One of around 20 surviving cars - purchased in bits - one day I'll find the time to build it

Either my Honda Acty pickup truck (add that to the list of cars I wish I'd never sold, although in reality I was never going to get around to fixing it), or the recently departed KA9 Honda Legend - I was surprised how few of them there were kicking around.

This. The Morgensen Special raced by Tracy Bird. Built by Dick Morgensen and Boyd Hough, full sister car to the Morgensen Buick Special that later became famous with Max Balchowsky as Old Yeller. It needs a full resto, but I'm slowly collecting the right period correct pieces for it...

I had an S1 RST which I'm ashamed to say didn't respond well to being left outside for two winters (although it was in daily use)
IIRC my VX220 was the highest mileage year-old VX! Had it 13 months, managed 34,500 miles in that time, does that count?
