I’m sure I’ve see photos of people taking their retros to London on Christmas Day and doing photo shoots at all the landmarks in deserted roads because it’s the one day of the year when everything is shut. I’m thinking about getting up early and going on a London tour in my truck Has anyone done this? I can’t seem to find and photos

Just beware for anyone potentially doing this run, the ULEZ is in force within the Congestion Charge Zone and operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
For those who have historic vehicles (tax free), you guys are excempt from the scheme.
Anyone that has a younger vehicle which doesn't comply with their rules eg petrols have to be euro 4 compliant or and diesels have to be euro 6 compliant, you will have to pay the daily charge.
Food for thought as it may add an additional £12.50 (i think that was the charge)

I have nothing to add other than that sounds like a great idea. I'm already fed up with hearing talk of Christmas already, we're starting to plan our Christmas boxes and product range as well as schedules and have been for a month or so. That's the joys of working in Organic food though

It would probably be best to go in the morning. I tried this last year, but went in the evening as I wanted a curse word of my car going under the lights of Piccadilly Circus etc.
However, the roads were crowded and we couldn't get near it. I did get some shots in Banksy's Tunnel (behind Waterloo Station), and under the London Eye. But there were loads of people around and other cars parked up.
We did go for a nice walk along the embankment though.
