They were on the TV other day, can’t think what program it was now, but he was apparently struggling to get interest & didn’t want the collection breaking up

Humbers have a dismal survival rate which makes this an important collection, particularly with ex-Royal cars among the vehicles. The fact that the collector / proprietor has been running this as a free museum with tours which he leads himself is pretty special. He must be devastated to be parting with them.

I used to see a few of these driving around as the place is quite local. Beautiful things to see on the road amongst all the moderns. I've been past the place countless times but never been in. I took a few pics of some parts cars in the yard and posted them in the spotted thread many years back - think there was an old Jag or Daimler in there too. Be a shame to not see them around anymore if they sell further afield. It was in the local news last year with a short video.
