The stalling is likely to be allied to the throttle body needing a good clean. Whip off the air cleaner unit and the single point unit is there, give it a good clean so bothe the body and the flap are sparkly clean to remove all the old oil/carbon/dirt and it should improve matters. It can also be rarely the sign of a lambda on its way out but these should only be 20-30 quid with a GSF/Euro car parts weekend discount code they seem to do everyweek... That allied to a good italian tune up..

You seem to have found the other common fault with the door/window electrics... Saved many a 6n2 from the scrappy with a bit of extra wire in the door loom...

If it sounds like a diesel its the lambda on it way out.... Along with needing a good service.
