From description it sounds like all it needs is a clutch pedal. Very common failure on mk4s
|

Yeah he knows its likely to be that or clutch slave but hes not got space to fix it/store it and used it as an excuse to pick up a TT...
Cheap daily for someone with a few hours to spare

Though saying that, if it is genuinely stuck in reverse even with the engine off then it could be something a whole lot more serious...?
Cool cheap car though, i'm looking for a winter hack.
