Hi, here i have a real nice, clean example of a Mondeo - In fact i realy wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the best examples of a ST200 around!
These are fast becoming a very rare car. As a future classic, prices are starting to pick up on these now, and to be honest it realy will be a good car to sit on as an investment. After having time to 'bond' with the car i realy would love to keep it, but too may cars, not enough space/ time/ funds....(story of my life!)
Right, so, this example is a 2000 year car, it has a manual, stacks of paperwork with it, and MOT runs out in September if my memory serves me correct.
It has had the 2.5 v6 engine replaced at some point in the recent past- i have paperwork / bill here for it, this engine only had 60,000 on the clock when it replaced the original.
The car has never been welded, and has been realy well looked after. Air con, electric windows etc as standard. The underside is as clean as on top! i did take pics of the underside because its not often you see a underside as good as this one!
The interior is as clean as you can wish for, with full leather, although i have noticed a small patch/ repair to the drivers seat boulster.
Again, the engine bay is as tidy and clean as you can wish for- certainly the cleanest bay of any Mondeo that i have ever seen!
Boot contains a spare wheel, and jack too. Carpet as new, and all clean and original as you would like to expect. One thing i have noticed is that the tailgate gas struts are starting to go- so it doesn't like to stay up too long on its own- easy fix though!
Exhaust sounds gorgeous! Not too loud either. Stainless. Car drives spot on, i cant find any faults with the way it gets down the road! Very comfy and fun car to drive, the 2.5 litre v6 packs a punch and puts a smile on your face, goes through the gears lovely.
Pics probably don't do the car justice enough; this is the best colour Ford put on a Mondeo, and when we are lucky enough to get a bit of sunshine it realy makes the blue jump out. Body work is clean and straight, no rust anywhere on the car.
Wheels are in great nic, tyres are almost new.
I realy cant find many bad bits on the car to point out (and I'm a very genuine guy- honestly) ! I have noticed a small odd mark here and there, being a 19 year old car. I pointed out the patch on the drivers seat, and the tailgate struts. The badges have been painted white by hand if you look closely, a perfectionist would replace these.
As i say being a st200, and such a great original example of a brilliant car, this will realy make a good investment, and there is a lot of car here for the money, and a lot of pleasure to be had.
Drive away, or i can trailer/ deliver at cost anywhere. Located in Herts, £2200 ono. pricedrop
Thanks, Matt.
