my Capri is getting a really wet floor either side of the trans tunnel. I replaced the heater matrix earlier in the year and had no bother and with all the rain we have had i don't know if its rain water or the matrix etc. Is there anyway to tell from the damp thats in the car? i have the dashboard out at the moment so can do things on it at this point but really really don't want to have to pull that thing out again if i can help it

The water in the radiator is lower than i remember but i could be wrong too. So many holes where grommets should have been too... pretty annoying.

If it's got antifreeze in its usually a bit slippy if you rub it between your fingers or smells different.

Or the old ‘lie in the car and get someone to run a hose over it and see if you get wet’ trick, even easier without a dash Got a sunroof?

I tried drying it and then tipping water over the scuttle panel. a tiny bit was coming in from under the steering colum so i filled that and another hole on the passenger side. Just finishing those up and i've topped up the radiator to see if that goes down. Hopefully i can sort it but i think it might be holes around the matrix etc as its not very water tight lol
