I've decided to get my dads toolbox out of my mums garage, as I'm in need of tool storage, and it would be nice to have something of my dads at home. Its suffered from a battering (fairly sure it got smacked by a mk2 Golf that was started in gear, but the main problem is the paint. I reckon it's a 70's or 80's knock off of the normal Snap on chest, 9 drawers but quite large. I want to strip it completely and rebuild and paint, bit this paint is seriously thick, and crusty, and flakey. What do you guys use as stripper? NitroMors isn't what it was and I cant see it touching this, but I cant really homebrew one with space and kids in the vicinity.
I'll get pics when i rescue it tomoro, in the mean time if you have any pics of what you guys have achieved feel free to stick them up, still undecided on the final colour
