Theres always been a stigma about FWD cars in the modded/classic/etc scene.....which TBH i was part of until i fell in love with my Datty. Was just thinking...what cars can you think of that are FWD but can still pull off the 'cool' factor ('cool' as in our definition..not the average numpty on the street) Ill start with a couple: Mini; And mine - Datsun 100A (had to really....i think its cool so ***k being humble LOL);

It's only recently really I've gone from FWD to RWD. But TBH, I'm not too fussed what it is. Some cars work as FWD and visa versa with RWD. [edit]Bah, beaten to it Ah well... Peugeot 205 Golf

i'll start with the obvious ones. I plan on owning and abusing both of these cars sooner rather than later. I think I owe it to myself. once I get these 2 out of my system i'll be happy to stick with RWD. we all know it's the best! (damn! 2 people beat me to it with the golfs! this forum is too busy)

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I don't think there is really a 'stigma' at all, there's hundreds of quailty fwd cars, plus thousands of 'OK' ones.
The current 'trend' may be for "TYTE DRIFTAZ YO!" to belittle anything that is 'shopping-trolley wheel drive', but probably 85% of these people are cock-waving wannabe driftards anyway.... it's a phase / fashion. it will pass in time.
Think about all the RWD cars there are which are not a barrel of laughs... like an 1800cc Marina on stock suspension.

I may be wrong but I think hes talking about the people who say the golf is the best hot hatch ever, when compared to a 205gti/clio williams it was slow and didnt handle half as good.
