Mine is the best kind of cheap...free. Been posted elsewhere but originating in a '80's dacia tool roll , it has morphed into the most useful thing in my tool box. Its rounded off and bent into a thing of beauty. Holds some good memories too.

This, it's a real Swiss-Tech one (not the fake eBay ones for £3, yes they are rubbish) had this one for 13 years. Think it was about £15 and I use it at least once a day. Closes and looks like a key.

Over 20 years ago I was working at a Citroen dealer in Bournemouth. And they decided to do a stock check and clear out of old stuff that they no longer needed. As well as car parts, was some tools. I picked this little socket set It’s an SP set and goes up to 13mm. I think I paid £12 for it. I use it all the time and have given it some serious abuse. But it’s still going strong.

Enter the sub fiver grab claw! This little tool has been invaluable with my camper build getting mostly cables through odd places. Feeding cables through the dashboard from top to bottom is also really easy and quick as well as when you have dropped something in some dark hole! I also have its cousin, the magnetic version.

Tipex - its great for marking things.
A glue stick - i use it for finding TDC by dropping it down the spark plug (its longer than the stroke). Its soft and won't damage anything inside the cylinder.
