When I came here a good few years ago my preference was for 60s 70s and 80s cars Owned many from those eras But RR opened up a whole new world of affordable 90s and early 2000s cars I’d never considered It is THE forum over any others I’ve used

Thanks for everyone that has filled it in so far. I was aiming for 100 or so, and we're already almost there.

I now find myself walking past lines of nice hot rods etc without comment and saying things like "wow look at that Nissan Micra"

And I won't sit down. And I won't shut up. And most of all I will not grow up.

I obviously really like traditional hot rods and kustoms, pre-57 or so, and also some non-traditional styles built using those bodies, like custom trucks. I like some 60s american, but still don’t really like anything 70s at all. I also generally am not a fan of anything British. I like really 80s stuff though, mostly Japanese and some European. And Russian. It’s difficult to quantify, some cars I just gel with and some I really don’t, it’s not especially down to age and more down to design and engineering, and the ability of certain vehicles to strongly evoke certain styles and eras.
