*press and hold* *save to photos* That’s another one for the curse word bank. I loves me a good armpit shot 🤣 First photo i took had a bit of tit in but I decided to post that one instead as you're making good progress on the A and I didn't want you sidelined with w**kers elbow.

After barely using the Polo last year I'm determined to use it as much as I can and as hard as I can this year. So I've been doing some runs out, mainly over Hartside. Went out tonight with a mate in his MX5 which is going through some resto work Makes me wonder why I'm bothering hammering away at this Polo when a stock MX5 with mismatched tyres can pull away in the bends!

I've just had some action in the Classic Car Auctions June sale. Didn't win either, but was quite exciting haha.

This has been the perfect week for the aircon in the daily to shıt itself. One new pressure switch, and a regas, and it's all frosty again. Also did a bit of wheel swapping, gone from Cup 2s to Cup 1s, by way of temporary BBS reps from a pal: Next week and a half will be spent on prep for Le Mans Classic. I should be excited, but this year's been hard and I'm finding it all a bit overwhelming.

I've just had some action in the Classic Car Auctions June sale. Didn't win either, but was quite exciting haha. Damn, were you there? You should have said! I was there in the morning with a few guys. It was exciting for sure! The prices were surprising, and the quality of the cars was varied to say the least. Some were definitely buffed up alot. The Bruce Forsythe car for example, had ALOT of wag in it. The Silver Golf Mk2 was also there with a rotten chassis leg, along with the E39 M5, which despite evidence of money being spent, had rotten jacking points, which E39s can conceal well. A good day out as always however. I did, weeks ago, have thoughts of selling my M3 for an XJR-S, but as my ex-specialist friend say, I don't need to ruin my life further .

I wasn't there I was just bidding online. Although if I had won something you may well have ended up with a panicked phone call as I didn't realise things needed picking up/moving on the Sunday!
Was in on the engineless Cortina estate as a project (basically to get sorted in partnership with a friend and then sell on), and then the Fiat 850 saloon, which I just loved, but it went for about 1.5k more than I thought it was worth, which was also over my final bid when I realised the whole moving the car on Sunday or pay a load of extra money issue haha.

That previous quote may look a bit odd to some, but it was done with the new editor I've put in place on the updated site design that I'm working on. Which should be in beta testing soon (more info on that in tomorrows weekly thread) for a sneak peek, let me use the awesome image uploader and show how the listing page looks right now (still needs a bunch of work on the menu, and avatar sizing, and ads and lots of little bits... that's why it is a preview). Hopefully that worked or I need to go back and re-do the image uploading again haha (bit of a bugbear)

They certainly do! The Cortina wasn't too bad, but it clearly was missing a couple of bits. The Austin Cambridge estate also from the Warwickshire collection had some interest. It wasn't immaculate but it did look like a reasonable going concern. The 850 was cool, but tatty. You were wise to stick to your guns on that one. Going forwards, I'm happy to help
