I was just going to say that - how is a two stroke engine in a car going to meet any sort of emissions reg's? Specially EURO 4 levels.
Still - a cool car in my book, look at the beetles - they're god awful cars if we're being honest, yet i love them and hoardes of people worship them now. I reckon this'll be the same.
p.s. RWD? Tight driftA yo!

Indeed. Jolly good news that ;D Fantasticle! Be even better news when that awful Scotchland's an ex-British colony too. What ho! Och aye! When we declare Alex the Salmon the new king, kick out all the English and Foreigners, all end up unemployed and begin resembling a third world country even more than we do now. ;D The only advantage we have over most is that plenty of people in the Central Belt would already have no qualms about eating each other, probably tastier and better for you than the curse word you get deep fried in your average Inverclyde chippy anyway. ;D Hoots man.

c mcarthur in da house: Och aye! When we declare Alex the Salmon the new king, kick out all the English and Foreigners, all end up unemployed and begin resembling a third world country...........
And this relates to the car in this topic, how.....
After seeing Wagoneers PhotoShop I really feel like Why not!??!?! dunk it, some wide reversed steelies, tinted windows and a bad ass paintjob, for the money into that you'll not even end up with a rusted up old Volvo 240 (over here)...
Sadly it will probably be years (if it even reaches this side of the world) before we can lay our hands on one but if the prize quoted is what it'll cost then I'll buy one in a New York minute....
DP says: It's growing on me, feels like a challenge....

It's rwd and cheap, it'll sell like mad and some one some where by the law of averages is gonna hit on the right combo to make it look cool. I'l be first to give it a go when i lay hands on one.
where's the engine anyway? MR RR FR?

Am I alone in thinking... wow, a car that's cheap, cheap to run and perfect for a short commute to work? F8ck what it looks like, as I can leave it anywhere and not care.
2-smoker? Ah... changed my opinion. Horrible thing.
Give one to Clarkson, see what he can do with it.

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

Apparently it's rear engined, very similar in concept to those Mitsubishi Is actually, which I sort of like as well. Sort of a Smart car done right.

Yes but I doubt the 2 stroker'll stay in there if it gets exported, seeing as it doesn't meet EU emissions standards etc, with a little inline 4 or a three cylinder turbo like some Japanese Kei Cars it'd probably be great.

I might be wrong about the two stroke thing, I just presumed with it being a two cylinder and with worries over its emissions that it'd be a two-stroke, Trabant style, might be wrong though.
