I don't think the thing about having 666 in a plate means it gets revoked is right, as I was seriously considering K666 POP for my 100e - as mine has the old A reg used for transferring numbers off many moons ago on it there's a rangie round here with B16 GAY or GAE on it - can't quite remember - kev Jeep Cherokee last time i saw that (on m25), B16 GAY, with lots of rainbows in the windows :-)

My brother saw a car (can't remember the make etc) with B4LDY, and yes - the driver was a 'slaphead'. Saw SKY1 just as SKY TV was starting. Always wanted to get P155OFF but I believe the DVLA won't release that one either

there is a bently/roller near chelmsford with the plate ORG 69... ;D I've also seen a Merc (AMG i think, well badged) with P7Y UP and the 7 was made to look like an A, also another car pulled up next to it at the lights and money was exchanged rather rapidly. All in Leytonstone

These guys have just about every plumbing plate going Once you've clickyed, click 'About Us', then view the company vehicles, then click again, and you should get a screen to view the plates. Some cool ones: DRA1N, W4TER, BOG1

Also, there used to be DR1 and DR2 on a couple of cars in Acton, W London about 20 yrs ago. A pub landlord had BOR1S on a Granada Est IIRC. Sure I once saw APA1N many years ago too.

Saw a wagon full of portable toilets cabins on the M6 a few years ago with LO02POO, which amused my schoolboy brain!
Also seen a new "mini" with STY115H, which it clearly isn't!

There's a new SL 500 goes around here and is regularly parked up at the airport with B747 JET as its plate. One of the butcher's chains around where I used to live had a fleet which got new reggies every year - H1 8EEF to H9 8EEF, etc, then H 8ONE and T 8ONE. Which I always thought was cool. My wife got L12 PTN from me as a birthday present (her name's Liz Paton), although according to some on here that makes her a gusset typist. Oh well...
