both of my mercs are correct, e220 insured, 230e not. did a quick check of some of my old cars *cough*. camper is insured as is the 500 sec. the 411 however is not, but the dvla tell me its still taxed. so it may be alive rotting on the nobber who bought its drive.

Well, My Celsior is correctly listed, my old Saab which I recently missed buying back is listed as insured, My old estelle that hasn't been taxed for 5 years isn't and my Missus's Fabia that she recently traded in isn't either so I guess the dealer hasn't managed mug someone for it yet.

i was a bit suspiscious at first when you said "just log onto here and enter your car details", sounded like some scam but its good to have peace of mins about your insurance... now to declare the mods...

I think that some brokers seem to assume that as 'classics' do less mileage and are 'usually' more carefully driven they can pocket the premium with little chance of a claim causing them concern?? I'm sure they are few and far between but it does happen!!
Glad it helped some of you guys out....I actually read about it in Classic Car Weekly so can't take all the credit.....sadly!
