I have a "thing" for Mk2 Golfs at the moment. ^the closest to "Euro look" I can find. I'm sure some of you guys have better pics! ;D Maybe looking back with fond memories of my old Mk2 winter hack has got me thinking again. It was only a 1.3CL but I had fun blatting around the country in it whilst I had the Merc off the road. Maybe I'll junk the Hyundai Donkey and get me a Mk2 to whizz around in. Might even keep it!

I saw a white Mk2, think it was a CL, in Mansfield yesterday with the bargainatious price of £150 taped to the back window... but it was driving so i have no idea where to find it again! incidentally I tried to get £150 for mine and no curse word wanted it - white 5dr 1.6 driver on a G plate, with tax AND mot for 3-4 months, brand new clutch too. it was a really nice car to blat around in but it just goes to show there are bargains round there. ended up swapping it for a tumble dryer that i never collected and a few bits of furniture that i've since given away

Never trust a man Who names himself Trevor. Or one day you might find He's not a real drug dealer.

if i thought i'd get a reasonable price selling my 'rocco i'd buy a mk2 Driver again, or a mk2 polo coupe. no-one wants 'roccos ATM, even with leather interior, Weber, alloys.

They are a good cheap hack have been running them on and off for 10 years and have never had a major problem. One of the most complete bargain hot hatches IMHO. some links www.v-i-c-c.dewww.vwhome.de
