I know its a car forum, so i'll keep it short and sweet. Most of my mates who are into classic/rally/racing cars are also into bikes. Anyone else on here into the same? Obviously hairnet600 is. Most of my bikes are pretty rare oddball affairs(bit like mi cars!) I have 4 road bikes and 3 race bikes. Road bikes:suzuki RG500 (mad 4 cylinder 2 stroke),Yamaha RD350LC(mad 2 cylinder 2 stroke),Yamaha TDR250(mad supermoto style 2 cylinder 2 stroke) and a Yamaha TRX850(ducati style J bike without italian electrics!) Race bikes:-All 1970s early eighties stuff.1977 honda MT125 GP racer,1979 Spondon Yamaha YZ250(TZ 250 eater!)And a 1982 Earlystocks Yamaha XJ550.
Will post some pics if anyone is interested.
Now you know why i'm not on here very often!

Very much so. I was having a long involved conversation only last night about the merits of 2 wheels over 4. I miss my bike (it got pinched last year) and I'm after buying another one this year (hence the sig) because I miss them so much ..... if I had a choice of only ever being able to use 2 wheels or 4 for the rest of my life ....... 2 wheels every time

Let's see then. I've gone back to 4 wheels (extreme safety with the wagon) after being on two for a couple of years. It all started innocently by scootering as a means of getting to work quick as the car was too slow in the traffic. Then I did the test and bought a Bandit 600. What fun. I only came off once, but wrote it off. And nearly wrote me off as well........still, fun while it lasted!

would love a Ducati 998, and a '03 Yam R1. my Brother-in-law had a Ducati Monster,... he now has pins holding his leg together,... I wanted one of those BMW High up city style bikes for a while when I was in London.... I decided a car was more comfortable

He fancy selling any of them? I don't know - one is his daily ride, the second is a project with '02 954 forks & loads of other mods, which I know he wants to keep. Don't know anything about the third one though. I'll ask him though - in the meantime, that 400 greybike website is apparently the best place to look. Keefy, you'll probobly know him then - not sure what his log in is, but this is his website Paul

I have an old '70 Yamaha YG-1! Little 80cc thing, used to use it as a field bike, proper good laugh.
But I do like my bikes. I haven't got the bottle to ride one on the road because of horse curse word and car drivers! but I'd love a cbr600 for the track.
That hybrid is the tits, looks mint. As does that NC30!
