This started out as a 93 B3 1.8L injection estate which I bought from a work colleague last year. Despite being an L it has PAS, central locking and electric front windows and sunroof. Overall the body is great for its age and as far as I can see has never had any welding. Engine is surprisingly sprightly and economical and sounds very quiet. Mot is until May 2008 and taxed until the end of November 2007. There is plenty of history and a wad of receipts.
Right modifications are as follows:
Paint job with 2K paint and vinyl POLIZEI on the doors. GT interior. PI lowering springs GT Cupline sports dampers (less than 1000 miles use) 9X16 Borbet T alloy wheels with 215/40/16 tyres. Clear indicators. Autobra. Window deflectors. German style plates.
It has a few bad points or you could just call them opportunities to take it to the next level! Basically the headlining does not fit correctly but I was planning on a Paris Beetles full length rag top. The starter is a bit noisy on the ring gear but that is about it.
Everyone who has seen this in the flesh cannot beleive how straight the body is as most estates of this kind are pretty much hanging by now!
Might be interested in a p/x or swap for something more family orientated and I have been looking at possibly a facelift Seat Toledo, Audi Avant, T4 Caravelle or even a VW Sharan prefer tdi but WHY?
It’s hard to put a price on it so does 1295 o.n.o. sound fair? Could remove some bits and drop the price if you wanted.
