My sister-in-law is pretty much certifiable ,.. seriously. Journey home was largely uneventful... went up to Rhossili Bay in the morning, left about 12, got home 15:30.... Skoda is now just about due it's first service.... 10k miles in 7 months.....  (did 750 miles this weekend!  ) |

i'm not gonna slag the place off as i've had many many fun years on there and met a lot of good friends... it just drains me sometimes to hunt through the mindless waffle to find the interesting stuff. and mandymicra.....  ;D |

I like to have a quick scan through VZi, but i've generally given up posting on there - as its almost too busy for its own good. Its good though that it reflects the fact that the VW scene is about much more than just the cars. This Forum is great as its pretty much 100% car related chat - which suits me, as theres not alot else I think about ;D.......... except I was wondering......... Marmite - do you love or loath it? |

i love it. AAARGH! WHAT AM I DOING!!! actually i decided to give VZi one last chance... went on over and it's not that bad, the top threads were "how do i fix my cooker" and "what time should my 11 year old be in?" but i guess it's just friendly chat. i used to run an Amiga online mag, we had a mailinglist which used to top 350-400 emails per day, only a third of which were anything to do with computers! and that's not a forum, you can't just skip through them - you have to download and delete them. |

Now days I'm in PC demo group Tpolm I was in Dimension-X... One of my ProTracker Modules was used in a demo we did called "Retina Burn" which is out in the archives on the web somewhere... It was on an Amiga Format (I think) coverdisk too at the time ;D Used to be one of the editors of our DiskMag - Deadlock - too! |

On-topic(ish) tale: My old 1293 Mini took me and three mates to the Anarchy Copy Party in Rotherham (got to be 15 years ago now!), we had six amigas, three portable TVs, boxes and boxes and boxes of discs plus power supplies, cables, extra drives etc... Got stopped by the Police who could see all the gear and thought we'd nicked it. We were trying to explain that we were on our way to a gaming party (*cough*) when he stopped us and said "OK lads, I guess if you're burglars you'd choose something other than a boy racered Mini to cram all that gear into... On your way" hah hah! Nearly rolled it on the way home but that's another story... |
