Why are we now getting adverts in the the body of threads? Specifically between the first and second post. It's mega irritating - can we go 'ad free'. I mean if you are watching telly, they wouldn't put an ad break in the middle of the football... or halfway through a grand prix... oh, hang on a minute.....

Indeed,.. I guess Proboards arn't getting enough click through ,.. Don't worry this has spurred me to sort out the forum on the proper site ... something a bit more Vanilla

If you use Firefox, download AdBlocker Pro add-on. No more ads. Works on loads of other sites too like Hotmail, particularly those ridiculous ones that explode all over the page you're trying to read.

Sorry, I meant Adblock Plus. Find it here. I know Proboards have to make money somehow, but...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Indeed,.. I guess Proboards arn't getting enough click through ,.. Don't worry this has spurred me to sort out the forum on the proper site ... something a bit more Vanilla Have a look at www.strato.com they have got a hosting for £1 for a year that includes allsorts, thats where I host the Triumph Acclaim Owners Club and they are good. They just decide which forum software you want to use and install, easy!!

I use.........Erm, Fuidanet. Great place. They don't ask to be paid much, always makes me laugh. Good uptime too, very VERY rarely down or intermittent. Has board software already integrated into the host as well...........good Cpanel system too

I use web host 4 life (www.webhost4life.com) .. It was reccomended to me by one of the tutors on a MCAD course I was on ... I need an account with unlimited bandwidth and features coming out of its ears... webhost4life are awesome. Most of the other developers I've worked with have moved their hosting to them now as well As for forum software,.. I've already decided what I'm going for (in fact its already installed and I'm testing it ) .. the hint was in the first post.
