G40 split rims?? You mean like 2/3 piece rims from a g40? I don't think they exist..
But when its finished there will be some other wheels, I'm personally in love with ronal racings, but allmost unfindable or too expensive for the moment...

The Audi 50 (and Polo 1) is überkool cars, and I really enjoy them. Here is a pitcure to inspire you, another friend of my from Norway, Christer's 76 Audi 50 GLS with sunroof. Is that the car that was on Mobile.de for sale for about a year? One of my dream garage cars is definately a standard-concours Audi 50, such a classy little car. Nice project folkert! I take it you've chosen the G40 rear axle for its antiroll bar? Or is there another reason? Steve

I also am lucky enough to have a bronze metallic mk1 polo - sadly not an Audi 50, but then I'd feel terrible cutting it about if it had been a 50... so rare here. More project pics hereYours looks to be progressing a whole lot quicker than mine!

I found yours once on the web, loved it... I am not moving quickly I am already working on it for 2/3 years... My painter is already taking half a year, when it should have taken 3 weeks I think its the curse of the metallic bronze paint - mine's been off the road for its surgery for 5 years Hope to be on the road in a few weeks now though.

Nice one ;D Reminds me of one of Mr Damaged's rides from a few years ago........... even down to the Red Derby parts car (which was last seen with a scaffolding pole stuck through the roof....Still got the pole actually!!!!) Good Luck Haha I remember that from about '91, driving the Derby around Redditch after you guys had jumped on it, with no screen and the middle of the roof level with the top of the seats.....with my John Milner tilted-head gangster lean on....and still didn't get pulled even when I drove it past the Police station..... ;D

Finally an update, after searching for a long time, I found some good 3 piece split rims in 13" which match time of the car. Th need some TLC PLS France: all 4, 7" wide offset 30/35 and 20 all 4 the outer rings are 1,5" want to replace them for 1" so I get 6,5" rims... 2 rings are cracked the other 2 are ok. difference between front wheels and rear wheels: rear: Front:

Got a new package by mail today, a NOS center console from some aftermarket brand: Ib.. It's brand new and still has its original box, screws are still in the bags and everything: With a leather gear sack, and in the outer lines are 2 chrome lines, the whole console is made of wood and finished of with some vinyl, it looks super... Backside, with speaker...
