Looking great Coggers keep at it fella 7x13 superlights have more "Dish" than the 8x13`s as well, but you can get 8`s in under standard arches HTh Dom EDit: 7x13" et -6mm 175/50/13 yokos and standard arches with no rubbing ;D

This is a cracker, bit late in the day for me to say but, FWIW I'd go for the Revo's with tyres of a suitable size to fill those arches. Go for the early bonnet and grille, if you can't get an early bonnet how about welding metal to the late bonnet to fill the gaps? Bit of welding, bit of panel beating, bit of filler, bit of rubbing down and you're there!

Noticed some rust beside the heater matrix , poked at it a bit and found yet more rust and some moss. Lovely. Nice little mobile garden you have there by the way, if you ever need any help with the Opel, let me know and i can help out

BC - I've had loads of different ideas on the interior hence the various seats but at last I've now decided on an all black affair . I think... Schlomping - As of now the Firenza is off the road and won't be getting used again until I get a load of welding done on it...which means if I don't get the Kadett sorted sharpish I'll be coming to Gaydon in a Ford Ka... So you may find me doing as much graft in the next couple of months as I have done in the last 10 years..

Quick update from the last 3 or 4 weeks or so.. Finally managed to find some dished 15" 4x100 wheels for it .. They're currently at the powdercoaters , I'll get them back next week Got an adjustable panhard rod for it via Germany but something got lost in the translation and I think I ended up with a saloon one So I had a grown-up shorten it and then had it powdercoated to match my Konis . It's now polybushed and waiting to be fitted Then I towed it to the local retro-friendly garage to have some much needed welding done. The bulkhead was holed either side of the matrix The boot floor under the petrol tank wasn't looking the best The seam running horizontally along the back panel was starting to rot The drivers door was full of trim holes and had about 4 different mirror mount holes So it's been welded and lead loaded too by a proper old dude. It took longer than I thought it would but as he got into it he had to put right other peoples repairs from the past... The rear panel took most of the time . He's removed the seam where the two parts of the panel join together , it's really quite subtle and a shame it's going to be hidden by the bumper but at least I know it'll last And the lads at the garage were kind enough to let me grab a couple of hours work on it so I got the headlights/indicators back in and managed to get the wings back on looking reasonable - or as reasonable as you can get pattern wings to look considering they don't line up too well at the minute .. (yes , it has been pointed out to me that it looks like an old police car.. ) So this Saturday it's getting a stainless exhaust made for it , then the list of jobs left are.. numberplate light and plates door mirrors passenger seat mot and I've ran out of time to get it painted before Gaydon so if I do make it down there you can all come and have a laugh at me paintwork. Or lack of it... ;D
