Got some alloys on the cheap which are now the summer refurb project.

And for some reason they stick out even wider than the last set did.







Nearly put it up for sale a few weeks ago but fixed some little niggles and it's driving lovely again.

Well I'm hooked on RR and my car's had some new wheels so I'll update my thread. Yes, I know it needs slamming but I don't wanna chop and aftermarket springs are more than I'd like to spend at this moment in time.

It currently looks like this:



Couldn't be arsed putting the trims back on because these'll be on soon. They're not on now because I'm sorting spacers out, but it's only a matter of days.







Fit pretty snug in the arches:



They're MK1 Uno Turbo wheels (4x98, 5.5J) with 185/60/13s on, and 10mm of spacing at the back.

To be fair dude, I wouldnt worry about cutting the springs. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be as long as there done properly!

Awsome looking car anyway I think it looks ace, prefer the old alloys on personally. Lower it and it'd look the mutts nuts!

Loving the new rims!

I wouldn't be worried about chopping, it's an easy job for a first-timer. Doing mine took a few (leisurely) hours I think, the back being the quickest (undo the shocks, lower the beam, and the springs fall out!). If you want a drop like mine was, that was two coils at the front and one off at the back. This made about 60mm drop at the front and 50ish at the back.

Warning though: mine was very stiff. I think that may have also been because of running 15s and 185/45 rubber though.

Love those Uno wheels. However, it needs a healthy dosage of the stick.

Had two Panda 4x4's one was a low mileage Facelift model, the other one the first one in the UK. We used to store it in a wooden shed the collapsed on it damaging the rear of the roof, so it got made into a pickup with fuel tank in the rear, M+S tyres, snorkel, waterproofed electrics and a winch. Had some fun with that in the local sand quarry and pit yard. Someone made an offer that could not be refused so off it went, but I do miss it.
