this car soooo takes me back- I had the Mk1 uno (4 dr like this) when i was 18- it had lancia delta wheels (with 185/60/13 tyres) a peco exhaust K&N air filter, more speakers than was healthy... infact my ears still ring today! I had it resprayed to a brighter shade of red, shaved the bootlid and rebuilt the engine with 3 angle seats and a little lightening thanks to an engine shop I was doing some work experience with at the time... I'll see if i can drag some pics out.....

Winner! cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270155324113Just bought these as the cross spokes i've got are metro fitment which I had in my head as being 4x98 but is infact 4x96.3 or something silly. Anyway by the time i'd bought 16 wobble bolts it'd have worked out silly expensive, so got these with 4 good tyres. Matt

I'm just going to add that Fiat Unos and Tipos should be the next big thing,... they even galvanised the Tipo so they should be less rusty yay for Fiat modifying.

I have thought that for some time as well Hotwire.
I've done a few Unos in the past but interest by other people was always quite low.
I'm talking about anything non turbo of course, the turbo was always popular but never seemed to create much of a knock on effect to the more mainstream models.

Amazing how a bit of tidying and painting transforms it, another top RR save.

Now insured and taxed. Handles like a blancmange and has speed and pace of an asthmatic snail, but its great for our lass to learn to drive in.

Started refurbing the wheels. Gonna go for black centres with silver rims. I need some alloy wheel bolts to fit it if anybody has any knocking about. How they started off. First wheel sanded down and cleaned pretty poorly, then masked off. Complete wheel primed Rim masked and centre sprayed gloss black Matt

Mmmmmmm black rims on anything Italian does it for me. Superb work! Does the "Ministry of Sound" tax disc work?

Excellent much cheapness saving going on here. Can I suggest losing the little black stripe down the sides...?

I'm split between keeping the bump strips and painting them gloss black, or removing them altogether. The problem with removing them is that no matter how much I polish the paint, its still brighter where the bumpstrip was.
Not sure about the tax disc, the holder is wibblepoo tho took me about 25 minutes to make it hold the real one in the centre.

Due to this happening....... .....I decided to finally sort the alloys out and stick em on. Picking bolts up tomorrow so should be cool. I started at 2.30pm today with one rim with a black centre and primer rim and 3 dirty wheels. First rim finished 2nd rim painted 3rd rim washed with thinners, flatted a bit and washed off. Hairdryer is propped up to dry it and warm the metal slightly. 2 rims finished I got the 3rd finished too just one more then they can be bolted on. Not too bad really took me a day just do the 1st one lol did the other 2 in 2 hours. Matt

Top budget modding skillz ;D The kinda stuff young lads should be doing to their cars rather than wasting money on exhaust extensions, and naff bodykits that never get painted properly That looks really good - takes me back to the one my mate had back in the Cov University days, they are actually quite a hoot to drive once you get used to the comedy (almost 2CVesque) Bodyroll, my friends one 'benefitted' from a United Colours of Benetton Mountney steering wheel ;D Hope you can pull this stance off in real life! Edit; can you still get Fab ice creams?
