Here's my newly aquired daily driver, loving named Roxie by the missus! Bought from a fellow RR'er (See the small adds do work) I bought her blind cause she was 175miles away, I went on the description supplied by Keith and I have to say it was spot on! Anyways, some pics You can see the gaffa tape front wings. I'd added a slice to my budget to buy some new ones, but after peeling it off I reckon I can repair them easy enough, lucky really, the only replacements I could find were fibreglass You've gotta love the on her The powerhouse, 67bhp of TwinCam Mazda goodness This is where I sit, its black plasticy-rific Sitting in her new home Did some work on her as soon as I got her back. Now I could of looked at the rust, or done a service etc, but I went for the important bit first. A new exhaust to replace the pea-shooter I had an old Ally bike can sitting in me Garage so it was mocked up Bit of cutting and welding later saw it on and sitting nicely. I don't think it looks out of place at all Quick vid of how she now sounds, its a lot deeper than that and it doesn't rasp, damn camera phone mic's curse word! Do any of you J-Tin lovers know which engines and 5 speeders will bolt in? I'm sure its the same lump as the rwd 323's???

Outstanding!! what a gorgeous little thing, I really fancied this myself but I'm on a Low car(b) Diet at the momment, if you do decide to part with it at some point in the future and my situation has changed I'll be very happy to offer her a home Any more plans we should know about? BTW, it's only a single cam in these

BTW, it's only a single cam in these Yup, my bad, fingers running away from my brain on the keyboard... Plans are to gently lower her, stick on some period J alloys, sort the body out and enjoy! Oh, then maybe in the future an mx5 lump and gearbox could find its way in there... Or there's that 13b on eba.......

What a great car. I'm gonna join Stuyizz in saying its a single cam though, if it was a twin cam, where the fook are they as they are clearly not in the top end of the engine? The engine looks like a 0.8 scale version of the one in my 929's which is a chain-driven Single OHC set-up.

Also, WARNING! These cars are 4 x 110 on the hubs and thus nice wheels are made of unobtanium.

Yep the 929 was a "C" series SOHC engine as well the first Mazda DOHC wasn't about untill the mid 80s. If you think about it logically, if it was a twin cam engine there would be a gazillion badges spread over the car proclaiming it in true J tradition

Also, WARNING! These cars are 4 x 110 on the hubs and thus nice wheels are made of unobtanium. Nice CAR rims are made of this material, but can I get a shout for Quad rims? This is a popular ATV pcd and them Americans love a bit of bling, so I give you: That was just a quick search from one site, gonna have to spend me some time searching around

She was on a LowLoader my good man!
Underneath is as solid as they come, looks to have been treated from new.
Door bottoms should be easy, nice flat piece of steel. Wing tops are holed so new metal can be 'let in' though the panel has a curve to it, but it should be fine.
