Yeah, my second vehicle. Purchased it for ~£150, runs great, there is a few niggles though. Front leather seats are ripped(covers already on), the sunroof switch failed on me this morning, there is no headliner fabric, etc. Runs great though. Makes turbo PSHHHH. Don't worry, the headlights aren't that yellow in person, haha. More pics when I can find my camera. I know, I need a stock grille.

Import 'em from the UK? Judging by Turbobricks you can easily set them up so that the different beam patterns work just fine in a LHD setup. I could get hold of a pair of e-codes for a 700 for not too much all day.
BTW is it a b230et or ft? Not sure on your models over there!

I don't speak Volvish... what are e-codes? I like turbo'd Volvos. The 740 is something you really don't expect to be packing such a fast motor! ;D

e-codes = European spec headlights.
It's a B230FT.

Nice! LH2.4 is much better than the old Motronic... do you have any plans for tuning it?

Damn that thing looks pretty good... get an MBC on there I would've liked Hydras on my old 940. I've got a pair of optional low mounted fog lights for that front end (although one lens is smashed ) apparently they're rare

Manual Boost Controller... not sure what boost pressure the yank cars got as standard but you can run 12psi on the B230FT no problem.
Much better with the OEM grille!

So yeah, an update, and a problem.
The car seems to have a weird issue with it. If 'm cruising ariound at half throttle, it will reach 3k rpms, then suddenly go into what seems like a rev limiter. Give it more throttle, then it will go like normal. If you punch it, it will rev to 5k, then do the same thing, only MUCH. quicker*. I really would like this fixed, and I have no idea where to start.
* At 3k, its like "fwoom *pshh* fwoom *pshh* fwoom," when it hits 5k, it's more of a "dadadadadadadadadadadada."

that looks nice, now with the orignal grill on it looks even better ;D and for this, a dent on the same location courtesy of a geezer with a transit van who reversed right in to my car when it was parked at work
