Super AutoBacs in naga-meguro was a bit of a let down tbh. Like a crazy halfords but not alot more stuff. Just 100 more ways to clean a car and light it that I new existed. And the best Japanese car book/magazine shop.... You did go upstairs to Lindbergh didn't you?

lindbergh? The Autobacs i went to in Naka Meguro only had 2 floors. I assume there ar bigger ones outside of tokyo like how the biggets halfords are nto in london. how the biggets halfords are nto in london. Yokohama seems to be the centre of alot of car things. I bought me a few magazines but they`re all in japanese which i`m still getting to grips with. Got a few shows coming up in the next month that I`m goinna try and get to.
Few pics for your troubles coming up

Yokohama is great, really nice vibe there Moon is worth a trip although I didnt get there If you are into bikes, there is Biker town just north of Ueno station in Tokyo and its full of Bozo styled bikes and scooters, some very cool Helmets etc as well Fuji Speedway is worth a trip too, there is a Come and Go public drift circuit there which is great place just to sit and watch at the weekend

sorry, i skip read a chunk of this thread cause i'm pretty crook and not far from bed but if you're going to Nagoya then there's the Toyota Museum, i saw it a few years ago and its the highlight of all my overseas experiences. there's photo's around on RR somewhere, both mine and from someone else who's done the trip. also there's the Toyota factory where you can do a tour, its meant to be pre-organised and there's only one day a week where they do an english speaking tour but it was pretty cool seeing how the cars all go together and they have a pretty good showroom with all their new gear in there too.
cheers Matt

thanks for all your help guys. I`ve got plenty of time so with any luck i should get to see all of the above cost depending.
Super Autobacs in Yokohama was elenty times bigger than the last one. It`s so wierd to see HKS intercoolers, strut braces, tein suspension, greedy chargers and loadsa mint kit littered all over the walls. The car park outside always attracts plenty of talent but its mostly riceboy stuff so i`ll keep it in my trousers. I havent had any batteries for my camera in yokohama so no pics but I will soon rectify that. I`m in kawasaki today and the road between yokohama and kwakka has so many garage along the side, will be snap happy on my way back and will squeeze all the pics up on the interweb when i get a chance.
I know the comment about the girls, tbh i wasnt a massive fan of japanese girls before i came here.
