Well, what can I say, you guys really came through didn't ya! Can't believe the turnout in the end. Was hoping maybe we'd get 25-30 odd cars maybe (which i would have been happy with) but the amount we had was great! I counted from the balcony at one point 57 cars in the car park and parked just outside. There was about 4 or 5 that went over the course and got replaced so i'd say just over 60 brought a ride. People wise...well, the place was pretty packed and i think the staff at the Ace were very impressed. Everyone behaved themselves, no misbehaving or burnouts or general loutish behaviour which was nice and quite befitting of the generally relaxed attitude this place has on a day to day basis. I will call the Ace and thank them in a day or two, and - if everyone wants - try and secure another one for next year? Same time? The weather was faultless, as was the company. So, thankyou everyone. For the excellent company, the dedication to come from far away, the effort to even get there despite work etc, the good behaviour and of course, the rides. You have done HoTWire, Rmad, et al very proud. See you next month! ** ps: have some pics ** In almost chronological order... Early arrivals The lesser spotted speedman... Brian had been waiting for this for a while LOL... From here i tried to take an individual pic of every car in the car park... Seth in double-hat shocker!!... Managed to blag my way onto the roof for a few high shots...

good work jonny. seems like everyone had a good time. this event was a no go for me from the start, a fair distance to travel, unable to get time off work for the journey down and the car would have used a fcuk load of juice. the gathering is very soon, so i saved my pennies to see you all there. maybe next year, whenever that may be.

w00p w00p! What a great evening, had an awesome time. Was great chatting to people that haven't seen since the last one, and also to meet new peeps!
Big thanks for the key ring (Mark?), looks awesome and sits nicely on me keys! Top work for organising Jonny.
Highlight for me was seeing Seth's car in the flesh, that stance is just incredible.

I posted something similar in the other thread, I'd just like to add my sincere thanks to JS for sorting us out with a slot in the Ace calendar which is no mean feat......and to everyone from RR who turned up chowed down and tripped out on everyone's rides without any hassles.....which should hopefully have impressed the management at The Ace enough for them to have us back next year. The best accolade I can pay it is that I woke up this morning feeling genuinely sad that it was over. Brilliant night.

Thanks for organising it great to have an excuse to get down to the Ace. ...and no one outclassed me by having a sack wrapped round the exhaust as they pulled up.
