First some photos .............................. .......dispite the wheels saying 38 on them I don't think that it has anything to do with offset. So they will fit but will either need mega stretch or some arches! Now some thanks! To Schakal for selling me the wheels ;D I trecked all the way to Barry in Wales to pick up these........ ......a set of five 8jx15 4x108 Wellers! So what do people think? Colour? and what arches? if any?

They look like they could well be ET-38!
Get some 195/50s stretched on there and then some fibreglass arches painted matt black.
PLEASE.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

gloss black, with some choice gloss black detailing on the car (gloss black bonnet? oposite of the norm!)
I vote for J bolt on arches, or boso archs, but first, get some mega camber on there, and get a tyre fitter to put a old knackerd 195 on there to see what it looks like.
can you roll and pull the arches? even if you just gain an 3/4" - 1", combined with some upside down camber shims and mega stretch i think you might just do it, acheiving hero status in the proccess.

Coolio. You need this. How about something pretty basic and traditional for the wheels, like silver, and satin black or just regular black fablon for the arches.

I'm going to see if I can with a bit of stretch and tuck get them to fit without arches. buble arche with the wheels done in brown with gold rim edge... si I was thinking brown with loads of gold pearl and flake, depending on what I can mix up at work. But a gold strip round the edge could be added if they need it That was the original idea with the pair of other wellers I got, as I wanted loads of dish! But these rims have more dish fitted the correct way round. Thanks mate well and truely bookmarked. But I think the arches might me a bit drastic (wtf am I talking about nato green was drastic). I was thinking of some slater-esch arches if the stretch and tuck idea doesn't work. Thanks for the feed back guys keep it coming

Very, very interesting! Does think work with double skinned panels too? (i'm guess the answer is yes, as I am pretty sure E36's are double skinned) I'm sure this will work on the front wings, but the rear is double skin and unlike the bmw doesn't really have a well defined arch at the back. It might look a bit out of place

Why not just get the centres machined out and welded back in so there is less neg offset, so you can run a nice bit of stretch and get them sitting perfectly in the stock arches, in my head I cant see bubble arches suiting a sierra I actually really like the sleekness of the stock shell

Robin, this is very interesting stuff as I want to run 15X8s on my Cosworth. Pic: And I can't find any. So when I saw that you'd found some I was excited. Now I see that they don't fit by a long way it's a shame. Have you tried fitted them the wrong way round? I tried to fit 235 Toyos on the 16X7s that are on there now and they rubbed the front arches. I tried rolling, pulling, rolling and pulling and I have shagged the arches. There is no way you'll get the arches to fit over those wheels. Feel free to witness the damage I did to mine first hand but don't try to roll them yourself. Charlie
