1955 Ford F350 Firetruck/Camper Updated today on the road

I also wanted some brake lights higher up on the rear body as some people may not see them so I got 2 red and two amber safety sar lights I then cut the bracket off and drilled a hole out to fit them.

You can see the roof rack were it will be fitted.And now you can see the safety star lights.

Tow bar now fitted made out of 14mm plate .

I have now got the hard wood latts for the roof rack.Not sure if i will use stainless steel self tappers or bolts

The ones that are bright are reflectors not lights

On this photo as well as the other one you can see how high the 14mm tow bar bracket goes up under the rear panel.You can see the four bolts.The bolts you will not see as i have a number plate bracket and stop light to cover them up.

Where did you get the safety stars ?

Were they cheap ?

Grizz .The red safety stars from uk £35 each off ebay amber ones i could not get over here so i got them off USA ebay they were about the sme size..I then cut the bracket off ,drilled a hole same size as the light as that bit unscrews.

OK, they are way out of my price league, but do look the dogs curse word.

Not much of a up date but i have now varnished the oak latts and screwed them down with stainless screws.

Good progress so far, I love the use of the safety starts!

For symmetry though, why don't you re-order the lights on the back panel? I think it looks odd with them in a different order side-to-side. I also think your reflectors need to be more towards the outside of the vehicle from a legal point of view but I might be wrong on that..

Just a suggestion, work so far is excelent! Top notch!

Hi i have put the reversing light lens on the wrong light.I didnt notice till i took the photo.All i got to do is unscrew the lens and swap it for the fog light one.If that makes sence.

Yea, cool. Glad it was just a silly mistake, that is the only thing I can honestly say I didn't think looked right. I love the attention to detail of the build! even down to hiding the reversing camera. It all very tidy

Started on the rear doors stepone clean the door with a bire brush on the grinder step two priimer set three paint red step four fit kingspan to keep nice and warm.
