Scrapyard Spots

Well went out to the scrappies today to try and pick up some wheels and tyres and another few little things. Was an unsuccessful trip but got some pics. 1st yard I went into had a tidy looking Sierra 2000E and a e30 323i Baur. Both looked like they shouldn't be there which made me Didn't get any pics of them but here's what I did get:


Nice looking Alloys. Only 2 but were 15x7 not sure on fitment but had a little bit of stretch!



W123 looked very straight bodywise and had an awesome interior!





Last time Shlomping was in this Yard this Rex was on the floor and had the keys in. James flicked the ignition and all the dash lights popped on. Bit of a shame. Its sitting on my uncles old mondy haha


4 door Skyline without engine. Shell seems ok.




Caddy was missing Windscreen and passenger door. Must be worth at least £500 in that condition


Awesome Sunny and I think thats my mates old polo. Must be on 180k now!



Loved the wheels on this Audi!!


This Vento was incredibly clean!! I mean incredibly! Almost mint! Real shame to see it in here as well

Just a couple of 14" Mondeo steels with useable 185/65 tyres. Managed to get some for the back but need a couple to match for the front.

mm, i see - i have some 14" audi alloys that will fit on your cortina

I don't want to be seen as contradicting you, but from my experiance previas are terible on heads with em being slant engine and under the seats, they get too hot.

Babington's car spares in leeds is like that, piled 8 to 10 high waiting for the frag but only 2 high in the rest of the yard, must be 1 of the largest dismantlers yards in the country holding in the region of 500 cars at any 1 time, including plenty of untaxed not allowed back on the road cars.
