Daimler, Jizzman. What I cannot discern is whether it is a 2.5L from a SP250 or a 4.5L from a Majestic sedan. I donno how to tell from a picture. You? It's a 4.5L from a Herse apparently it used to run 11s on pump gas and would lift the front wheels on launch! I'll pass on your interest when I pick up the Cresta which will be sometime over the Christmas period. He's in the process of building a new workshop and talked about rebuilding the Capri, so it's not up for sale as such but I'll sow the seed and keep you informed. I might even be able to aquire a scan of it from back in the day if you're lucky.

Massive of you, Stu. If he wants to go on and keep it, it's nice he knows we are over the moon with the beast. Wow, a 4.5L! I heard those can be punched out to 5.0L with some bore and stroke majick.
Nice find on your Crusty and Mazz too! ;D Forgiveness begged for being so bowled over by the Capper.....

I thought you were going to bring the T back up to scratch and roll it not so long ago? did it stay in the 'family'? I've had plans for it off and on for years, and yes I was going to get it drivable again if I didn't get any takers from the Summer nationals, but with everything taken into account I got a good price for it and TBH it feels like a huge weight has been lifted now and I can concentrate on things that are more "Me" now, rather than "Me" ten years ago, if you know what I mean Wow, and just at the same point that I have decided to go to the bank and get a loan for a car 'a little more me'... ....PM me a price Stu, this could be b.e.a.utiful (Yes, I did just use a Jim Cary/Mask quote) Chris Not sure on price bud, offers or Ebay is how I'm rolling with this one, if you're getting a loan why not get yours finished. I'll give you a hand with stuff if you need Hey Stu I still have my B1800 and a shedload of new panels, Pop over for a weekend with a big estate / van and take what you want That's super cool of you Mike and I'll take you up on if I manage to make it mine Probably best if I leave the Mrs at home this time though

That Capri is lovely Aren't the cranks a bit whippy in those engines? Not enough bearings, no?
