a little info from him
Right ive decided finally to get rid of my escort project.
Its a 1972 mk1 4 door with what I believe to be a 1600 xflow (it says 1300 on the v5 wink wink) with a 4-2-1 manifold and ashley exhaust system its a 4 speed with proper rose jointed quick shift that cost me £45, body wise its major flaws are the rear arches need new ones welding on and the last part of sills and some small holes in the front footwells, other wise very solid. I have one replacement foot well though and can point you towards a shop that can get you other for a damn good price.
Some wiring still needs doing switches, clocks fitting in fully and a couple of other bits.
has been lowered 3 inch round so I was told but may be 2
It has been running thanks to the ashton boys but it would have to be trailered away as its sorn and obviously it has been standing for a few months without being started but still turns over. also has electronic ignition. have boxes of bits in the garage to pretty much finish the car off.
comes with two old skool cobra bucket bucket seats too
It has a new battery and is pretty solid apart from the bits ive mentioned.
Its rolling on steels so not the alloys shown here PM me with all the questions.
Gear knob is not included (i couldnt bare to part with it)
I'm in mitcham and I'm asking £500 bottom line or its ebay for it (really need to get shot of it). Also consider p/x or swaps (runaround or van or anglia shaped)
doors have been taken to metal and all have not a mm of rot on them, will put pics up when I find them
