I love estate cars! I think they so often look better than their saloon counterparts. That little Volvo is odd, but strangely alluring!

Porsche 924 - gone Citroen Saxo VTR - not very retro but I loved it - now gone... MK4 Golf GTi 1.8T - gone but hardly remembered... Mini Cooper S R53 - gone BMW 125d Coupe - gone (mostly sideways)
Ford Focus RS Mk1 - hello low MPGs and "wanna race me" at every set of lights... 1973 BMW 2002 - Twin 40's, 284 Cam, Revolutions, E21 Recaros + more Porsche Cayman 987 3.4S - here and due to cost me more money than I have

Heres one I built earlier, the original about 10 years before I started to rebuild it, after it had been under a tree with the fabric roof torn and a tree falen on the roof, and a 3 foot long bracket of Fungus growing inside. and almost as I had it after I built it, dismantled it for painting and lost interest, and sold it to Chris Nash, who has sold it on again,

Speaking of the french.... As you probably know this is Peugeot's own 309 break prototype that never made it to production. There was also a French company making a sort of extension that you could fit in place of the original rear hatch to make it a "break" similar to the Volvo 440 on the first page. Unfortunately (?) Peugeot forbid that company to sell them.

Some great cars here guys, never knew about the 205/309 estates, here are a few more. I have seen that TR7 estate at a few shows in the past. From memory it looks better in the flesh than in that photo.
