I think, if any UK model car is going to be extinct its going to be this The dacia denem. There must be a few 1310's left in romania, but UK spec, badged as a denem? Ebay have nothing, not even parts or dead ones, google fails to find a pic of the car, I remember when I last saw one too - 1984 Anyone know different?

Heck, even here in Australia I can't recall ever seeing one of those on the road. 4 doors are still relatively common, as are Chargers, but not those. I know of 1 of these in the UK and it is most definitly not on the road Aussie Chrysler called a CH or Chrysler By Chrysler 2 door Hardtop. the boot was big enough for 3-4 dead bodies. sold by rootes group via the chrysler dealer network but main dealers with links to warwick Wright (who still exist) so I recon extinct unless the guy I know with one gets his finger (welder) out. all aussie valiants must be nearly gone chargers must be low teens and the 4 door valiants must be worse Dave

no one has mentioned these yet, I had one breifly years ago and loved it, but then the crank needed welding and regrinding and it wasnt cost effective to fix so it went. loved it too! Toyota Carina 2 Still a good few of these driving around in Ireland - farmers favourites

Only cos I have a Renault 12 van & Estate- thereby establishing 'my credentials' Well, other than one unregistered example stored in secrecy, are there any left on the road? (which was the original question...) PS, I still repair carina II's for people. Farmer's favorite indeed Most of the suggestions in this thread are still out there in the styx if you know where to look! Havn't seen a yugo sana for a few years now, but there is still a 45 batting about here.

rooting about in the loft tonight, I found a Daily Mail Motor Show Review for 1975 and noticed a few marques and models I don't see today, either on the net or on the roads, so, in aphabetical order (using where possible 1975 models); Alfasud Estate I don't remember that at all! It has a coachbuilt look about it. Surely these must have been rare and never sold in the UK? Lamborghini Bravo - concept car only possibly? Bertone's Lamborghini Bravo was definitely only a prototype. Pretty sure it was derived from the Urraco and had the same 3 litre V8 as the P300 version of that car. It may have been intended as an eventual Urraco replacement but didn't happen. The Urraco died of with it's sister car, the rare targa-topped Silhouette, which was reborn as the Jalpa with a larger 3.5 V8. Here's another near miss, the Cala: This was supposed to be the Jalpa replacement but after a long wait the Gallardo did the honours.

Mk2 cavalier commander, barely any of these left thanks to extremely poor rust protection from the factory Wasn't it down to the fact they were all left in a field for ages before going to showrooms? They also suffered from appalling electrical problems due to the damp that got into them as a result of said field. Another car that must be extremely rare is the Fiat Strada, haven't seen one in years. *Edit: I did hear there was only two or three Wolsely Princess models left out there too.

I know someone mentioned the Samba earlier, which clearly nonsense, but has anyone seen a Talbot Samba Rallye recently? The last I saw was in Kingstanding in about 1994.

Can't say I've ever seen another Aquatic Jade green Mk1 Escort estate, seen a few saloons pictured but never another estate, which could make mine possibly unique?
The colour was rarely used for Escorts as it was a Cortina colour & only used for a year
