A 1981-1984 colt 1400 Turbo. I know some exist in other countries but I have not seen one here in 12 years, and even then the 2 I did see were both at the scrap yard. One was parked outside complete waiting to be scraped and I sat in it, but my dad would not save it. He said that I could get one any time when I was older and that there are lots of them. Its my favorite all time car and I will own one or two oneday even If I have to import one. If anyone ever sees one in a scrap yard or even in a garden rotting let me know and I will save it. I had one of these back in the 90's If anyone knows the whereabouts of it, the plate was A153MUR. I would happily murder the person of your choice to have it back i really miss that little car i actually sold my Starion to get it ;D

'Cos at the rate that late 80's early '90s are being traded in on the Scrappage Scheme they'll soon become extinct! ;D

can i just say citroen GS and GSA, id be surprised if there were many of those about.
And to comment on a post earlier in the thread, 99% of all BX's had plastic/fibreglass bonnet/tailgate etc, not just the 4x4's

rooting about in the loft tonight, I found a Daily Mail Motor Show Review for 1975 and noticed a few marques and models I don't see today, either on the net or on the roads, so, in aphabetical order (using where possible 1975 models); Alfasud Estate BMW 3.3 Li Bristol 412 Convertible Citroen Ami 8 Colt Galant GTO Fiat 128 3-Porte Fiat 132 GLS Lamborghini Bravo - concept car only possibly? Mazda 616 Estate - couldn't find a pic of an estate, (i ll scan the review photo later) Panther Rio - one came up for sale on ebay last year, but ive never seen another Renault 30 TS I'm not suggesting all the cars featured above are extinct, but certainly they must in quite rare in the UK I'm off to hunt for 1976 and 1978 motor show reviews ;D

I thought of another one, Mazda 323 Panel Van, these were advertised in the brochures so presumably sold here (pic nicked from Michiel), never seen one: Ha ha! I just sold my Nissan whatever the hell it was which is exactly the same as this bit with windows. It's still on the road in Cornwall. I drove it around there about 3 weeks ago when I was working on the viva. The dude who owns it now just wanted a cheap runaround. I sold it to him for 250 quid. I rekon he'll part ways with it for the same if anybody's intrested?

I'd like a Fiat 132 GLS, my dad had one in 1977 and I would love to build one just like it. I remember they had a great advert for them. Great cars!

pretty sure the lambo brava was just a concept the review says 'price to be arranged' and i had trouble finding pics, so maybe it never went into production

I know of 1 of these in the UK and it is most definitly not on the road Aussie Chrysler called a CH or Chrysler By Chrysler 2 door Hardtop. the boot was big enough for 3-4 dead bodies. sold by rootes group via the chrysler dealer network but main dealers with links to warwick Wright (who still exist) so i recon extinct unless the guy i know with one gets his finger (welder) out. all aussie valiants must be nearly gone chargers must be low teens and the 4 door valiants must be worse Dave

Toyota Carina 2 I see a red one from time to time. Saw it only a couple of days ago. I also see a fair few later shape carina2s where I work in altrincham. 4door saloons (there's a dark grey one with it's rear quarter all battered), 5door hatches and even a couple of estates! There's a white Carina E GTI knocking about too. I really fancy a Carina2 as a daily
