I've owned this car for about 2 1/2 years now which is plenty for someone with my patience! Selling as I've accidentally bought a big Subaru Legacy whilst messing around on ebay. Fancy a change more than anything.
Car has been great for me in this time and I've dealt with anything that has come up in the time I've owned it, clutch, brakes tyres etc.
Paint is actually a deep metallic red if you put the time in to bring it out, really nice and deep. Some scuffs and deep scratches on NSR and OSR door and arch and scuffs on front bumper. In summary, not a looker if I'm being harsh.
Face-off sony CD stereo, Electric windows, PAS, electric mirrors, AC for the upcoming summer months (weak, needs regassing).
Returns 30-40 mpg dependent on use of the go pedal.
As you'd expect everything works mechanically, only advisories for tyres on MOT which have now changed.
AC and electrics work except for fan internal blower which only works on top two power settings and remote fob doesn't work/exist.
This is the non-Vtec/Vti for those wondering but stil SOHC 16V D16 engine which pulls strong all the way. cam belt done at 56k. Lots of service history for it but not many MOTs
In the last 2 years (since I've owned it, lots of other reciepts):
-New backbox
-New Clutch
-Service
-New wipers
-New keys, immobiliser and ignition from Honda (lost the original)
-New front discs and pads
-New rear calipers and pads, full system bleed
-Power steering fluid change
-Vti half leather interior fitted inc. door cards and carpets, dash insert (original boot floor and boot cover )
-Rear anti-roll bar (could do with bushes, drop links good)
-Front strut brace fitted
-Decent wind deflectors fitted
-Dropped 40mm on SPAX springs, standard shocks. Comes with original (chopped) springs and a full set of mg zs v6 coileys.
Removed orange I.e. side repeaters, front and rear bulbs
-E30 bottletops in Ford Ivory all round with custom Honda centre caps.
Will update the picture asap. Comes with 2 spare bottle tops and 5 steels, range of tyres/not. Or can keep whatever isn't wanted.
The boot area is still a slight mismatch of the old and new interior but the rest of the interior is quite pretty imho.
Large load bay for the size of the car and better (wider) access to rear boot than most estates with handy storage bins.
