What do you guys think? I've been offered a set of dirt cheap 17 inch momo arrows that will my E34. Do you think they would suit the car? I have always wanted a set of arrows and when I had the E36 couldn't find a set so really fanmcy these but am unsure of whether they would look great or pants.
hahahahaha, I was the same. Virtually EVERY wheel I have considered so far has had dish. I've just always had a soft spot for Momo arrows lol. Mind you, I hadn't considered gunmetal grey but now that you mention it.........reaches for paypal account
there used to be a schnitzer kitted black e34 on arrows round here and they looked the absolute danglies!!!!! he also had a carlton gsi 24v (i want one!) on azev a's then arrows....they really suit big cars ;D

I've seen quite a fewE34's over the years rolling Arrows and always thought they looked great on them - a lot of E34 fitment Arrows seem to have a slight 'dish' on the spokes unlike the smaller 15"/16" ones found on the 4 stud versions which are fiarly flat. This dish makes them look so much better.
I agree that they are a wheel that totally suits the E34. I wouldn't hesitate in fitting a set if I were you...but follow BenzBoy's advice and get the ride height perfect to bring the best out of them.
yeah, can't afford coilovers but I'm going to price uphaving some lowering springs fitted at the lhe local garage. Was thinking 40 or 50mm. Does that sound about right? I cant go too low cos of the millions of speed bumps where I live.
To be honest I don't think the e34 suits being mega low. It's got a fairly good stance as stock and lowering rather than slamming it on it's ar$e looks better. Plus it's a good handling car and anything extreme might ruin that. 50mm will probably be just right!
I remember back when I was at college I used to see an E34 on Arrows all the time. In fact, I think there were a few about, and I always thought it was a winning combination!
As mystery machine has said, they seemed to have a slight dish to them in BMW fitment, which really made them stand out from normal Arrows on other cars. Not dish like a Borbet A or something. The kind of dish where the spokes still go to the edge of the wheel, but then lean in towards the centre (if that makes sense?!)
cheers guys I'm just waiting for the wheel owner to supply his paypal details and the deal will be done. As for lowering the car I like the sound of 50mm. I'd do it myself but lack the mechanical skills unfortunatly

yeah you're right, as they are not the easiest car in the world to get the springs off. although if you're worried about speed humps... mine is down 40/30 and my sump has no fins left, the suspension arms are bent on the lips and scraped all over, and i've knocked a few bolts loose and had four shocks blow so far since doing it. also the exhaust has had a bracket sheared off and is damaged itself. i'm running 195/55/15 on the front and standard on the rear.

Deffo the 18" five spokes. The'Pina replica's look cool abut are an absolute bu@ger to clean with all those spokes to wash between. I had some 18" versions on my Z1 which was only driven once in a while and I hated to clean them. I'd dread to think what it'd be like keeping them clean on a daily!!
Those 5 spokes will be a doddle to clean, plus they look uber with that dish and are 18" not 17"...so if the same price it sounds like a no-brainer to me ;D
