The MGB says 44k, but I think it could be 144k (engine and gearbox barely have 9k on them mind you and the suspension is on a few hundred.
The Focus I bought at 123k, and I sold it with 160k, with it still being great.
Volvo 740 I bought with 160,000 miles, but the gearbox had seen better days.
I bought the white MGB with 52,000 miles, with history going back quite a way to prove it. I put on another 2,000 in 2 months onto that car.
Porsche has 130,000 miles on it.
Highest mileage car I've ever had is a 2001 Mondeo 2.0 petrol with 390,000 miles on it. If the diff didn't give up the ghost I would still have kept that car (it's now in Mondeo heaven after being broken for spares). It still went well, and people didn't believe the miles it had.

The escRot about an hour ago, although Ive done the 4miles to work since then We bought it in March '06 with 48k on it, but no history so it could be 448k* *looking at the state of the shell, its more likely to be 148k

Dyane: 62k Xantia: 101k
Highest-mileage motor I ever had was actually the BX that died a couple of months ago with 227k on the clock, closely followed by the '87 Volvo 360GLT I owned in 1998/99, that had covered 212k in just 12 years.
Highest-mileage motor I've ever driven however was a 1994 Volvo FL6-18 rigid that by the time I took it on as an agency driver in 2001 had a staggering 1.1 million km under its wheels. That's 700,000 miles. What's more it had never had the heads off!!
Notable mention must go to S245EAB, our old works 312 Sprinter, which was part-chopped in 2007 with 362,000 miles on it's 2.9 litre five-pot. In service with us from new, it had had a gearbox, and a couple of turbo actuators, a service every 6k.......and that was it. Sure it was tired (top whack by the time we got rid of it was about 75....), but I'd have jumped in that van and gone anywhere, knowing it would get me home.

Forgot my girlfriend's motor. Mid 90's Renault Scenic with the 'notorious' automatic gearbox which started playing up at 97K miles. Now done 129K miles and still going strong. It's done 17K miles on the last oil change which was £4.99 20W50 Comma Motorway with no new filter, some time back in 2007 ;D

My 525tds has done 167,000 miles and drives like new, fires on the button and pulls like a train. I think I've put about 5k on it since I bought it, about 7 weeks ago!

The Corolla KE20 has 75.000km on the clock, but i think it's more 175.000km.. The Chaser has done just over 200.000km. Dennismo bought a new daily a few months ago, Toyota Starlet diesel with 425.000km on the clock. Who would drive that distances in a Starlet!

nc50 express sold with 45,000 miles on it still on original barrel an piston did you own it from day one? I find that bloody hard to believe its a 2 in the first place which don't like to last as is... then its a gearless wonder and screams everywhere... 45,000 is very high and that would have fook all compression and grind like a be-atch

Amazon - Previous owner can't remember how many times it's been around, believed to be twice, therefore around 260,000miles
